Curator's comments
Wardenaar was charged with mapping sites near Malang and Trowulan. He did an archaeological survey at Trowulan in 1815 (Jordaan). His drawings at Trowulan dated Oct 5-7, 1815 (Gomperts, Haag, Carey).
